Mac has 27 yrs experience in networking&virtualization. 2006, became IBM Master Inventor, IBM Distinguished Engineer in 2008, Member of IBM Academy of Technology since 2009; served 2 years as Chief Architect for IBM System z Enterprise Software, 2 years as CTO for IBM Cloud partnerships&client innovations, IBM Corporate Strategy team; two years as Director&CTO Cloud Portfolio in IBM Global Technology Services; lead the technical due diligence for SoftLayer acquisition, leading to creation of IBM Cloud Services Division; co-authored Springer’s Handbook of Cloud Computing used by colleges, universities. 2016, received IBM’s highest technical honor, appointed IBM Fellow. He serves as VP&CTO, Emerging Technology&Advanced Innovation, IBM Cloud Division; faculty member for Cloud&Internet-of-Things Expos. Mac serves on Internet of Things Community Advisory Board, and many other advisory boards.
